Some Kind Words
8300 Flats Apartments and Retail, Bethesda, Maryland
“Originally, when our team arrived at Rubenstein Studios to discuss commissioning you to create a sculpture for 8300 Flats, our thoughts were to commission the other two city-required works of art from other artists. After learning of the breath of your portfolio and the versatility of your creativity, specifically your three genres of sculpture, water, wind-kinetic, and vertical, we decided to commission you for all three projects.”

Since then, the iconic sculpture has become a local landmark, drawing the eye of countless visitors at Bonner Bogen, a popular destination for walkers and cyclists with restaurants, a beergarden, a playground and a spectacular view of the Rhine.”

“This sculpture has brought many positive changes to Jaipur. Students visit it during school trips and learn about protecting the environment. Teachers often use it to explain why we should plant trees, save water, and avoid plastic. It makes learning about nature fun and easy to understand.
For the community, the sculpture has become a symbol of unity. People gather around it during special events, like Earth Day, to talk about how to make the city greener and cleaner. It has also encouraged more parks and gardens to be built in Jaipur, making the city look fresh and beautiful.”
