Water Sculpture

Bronze

50″H x 32″W x 21″D

This bronze sculpture's curvilinear and anatomical shapes suggest a dynamic interplay between form and function, evoking the organic complexities found in natural and biological systems. Its patina and texture react dynamically with the elements, particularly water, which not only alters its appearance over time but also symbolizes nature's transformative power.

Water emerges from two channels, cascading down through gracefully curving forms into an elliptical pond before spilling over the edges into a circular basin below. The journey of the water, originating from a hidden source and following a serpentine path, mirrors life's complex and often circuitous path. It invites contemplation on deeper themes such as growth, adaptation, and the continuous cycle of renewal.
