Glenstone

"Travelers " is part of a bold new series by sculptor and public artist Barton Rubenstein, composed of complex concave and convex forms that pulse with movement, energy, transition, and distinct personality. Crafted in mirror-polished stainless steel, the surfaces capture shifting light, surrounding color, and the presence of visitors themselves, making each viewer part of the work. Animated by daylight and subtly illuminated at night, "Travelers" stands as an immersive, dynamic sculpture and an expression of interaction between art, environment, and people.

Each sculptural form is deliberately crafted to embody a facet of the human condition, emotions such as perseverance and courage, and gestures like reaching, leaning, tiptoeing, or looking back.
