Three Elements
Swish, graces the entrance of a new building at the world headquarters of SAS Institute, Inc., in Cary, NC. Designed to enhance the dynamic corporate atmosphere, the sculpture features several towering elements that gracefully rotate in the wind.
Each element of this wind kinetic sculpture is crafted from reflective stainless steel, which captures and bounces light between the sculpture, the building, and the natural surroundings. This interaction creates a lively play of light and shadow that varies throughout the day and with changing weather conditions.
Swish complements the campus's architectural aesthetics and landscaping and represents the tech industry's fluidity and constant motion. Its presence at the front of the building serves as a visual metaphor for the forward-thinking approach and continuous development that define the company’s ethos.
